Do You Want to Keep Friend Relationship After a “Sugar” Relationship Ends?

We have asked many sugar babies about this question: Do You Want to Keep Friend Relationship After a “Sugar” Relationship Ends? Here are answers we collected:

Sugar daddy relationship end? I’m pretty sure if a SD relationship ends it was most likely on bad terms, in my opinion, don’t give me wrong I’ve had plenty of relationships that I ended on good terms so if it was that situation I absolutely would not mind maintaining a friendship with that person but if we ended that relationship on bad terms we should just end it all no friendship necessary at the end.

—— Sugar Baby

I would like that but I don’t know if it could work because it looks to me very difficult to make a friendship when you know he was your sugar daddy. It could but I don’t know precisely how I would feel all about it. Because it could be very difficult to build something in that without any expectations about the stuff you did together but I hope it could.

—— Sugar Baby

Depending on our relationship before and why/ how it ended. If we mutually agreed to see other people or just that we didn’t match, yes of course! If I went for them in the first place they must’ve had an attractive personality. Whereas, if the breakup was traumatic, like through an argument and nasty things were said, I’d want to apologize and leave it where it is.

—— Sugar Baby

I would say it depends on if I catch emotional feelings for the SD, which usually is the case. Even then though, I’m usually friends with Ex boyfriends/girlfriends, etc. so I don’t see why I couldn’t. As long as he doesn’t break my heart. If I get to screw over or blindsided, that’s when I know I can’t stay friends after. It would be too hard for me.

—— Sugar Baby

I think I would because I would have fitted to know him better and we would have a better understanding of each other and as long as we did not end on bad terms I don’t really see anything wrong with it because it’s always good to have someone that you know and you can talk to that cares what you have to say and will lesson bc not everyone will do those things.

—— Sugar Baby

I would keep a friend relationship with daddy if he is up for it. If we formed a bond and have high mutual respect for each other, there wouldn’t be a problem remaining friends. I would want to be able to still have great conversations and for us to be able to check on each other from time to time. Just because the sharing had ended doesn’t mean I would think less of him or he won’t be worth my time anymore…but it also depends on the circumstances around why the sharing ended.

—— Sugar Baby

Under the right circumstances, absolutely! Although I’m not on friendly terms with some of the partners I’ve had, that hasn’t turned me off to the possibility of maintaining a friendship with a former partner (sugar daddy/mommy or otherwise). I assume it would all depend on the type of relationship you had before things ended, how it ended, and what each person who was in the partnership wants while moving forward. That being said, I think maintaining a friendship with a former sugar daddy/mommy is totally doable, and I would be more than happy to keep up a friendly connection, if possible!

—— Sugar Baby

I would…. A daddy helps the baby and vice versa so much that I believe you can form a true friendship and if there’s a true friendship there’s no reason not to talk to each other afterward. Besides I’m sure that the daddy would love to know how much their help has truly helped his baby. And it’s only right to let them know that it has indeed helped.

—— Sugar Baby

Yes, I think when people have a genuine connection its hard to break that even when you’re not getting ‘favors’. I believe conversations are a good start to any relationship so even if we are not intimate I would like to still talk to that someone says hi or run ideas by them or talk about your day. That’s probably how we started out so why end it if ‘favors’ aren’t included.

—— Sugar Baby

In my opinion, it depends on how the situation ended. If we left at bad terms then there’s no reason to speak to each other. If we end it at a mutual level then yeah why not? There can be issues when becoming just friends though. There could still be feelings for one another underneath. But it’s called growing up and being able to handle those feelings.

—— Sugar Baby

It totally depends on the relationship. Why did the sugar end? Obviously, if things go left it’d be hard to keep up a relationship, even a friendly one. But if I get a sugar daddy who also provides me with mentorship and guidance in my academic or work life, of course, I’m going to see them as a friend and will want to keep them around as long as possible, whether they still want to treat me or not.

—— Sugar Baby

I would love to have a friendship with my sugar daddy after, but only if that is what he wants. As I get to meet my sugar daddy hopefully we get to know somethings about ourselves and therefore what to be friends afterward. Well after meeting me one can’t help but be friends with me!…lol. Down to earth, a good listener and educated to talk worldly.

—— Sugar Baby

This is probably the hardest question because most of the time the reason you stop is that the baby gets into a relationship. I feel like out of respect for my boyfriend if that was the case it would be hard to keep a friendship with someone if you were sexually active with the daddy. I guess it depends on the situation bit I’d say it’s not ideal.

—— Sugar Baby

Amanda b 否 Because we both put in so much effort into the relationship I would not be willing to drop it that fast so I would like to keep some sort of contact and relationship. I always like to stay connected with everyone and I think this will always apply to me so if my daddy and I decided it was not working out I would like to keep in contact with him and further keep a relationship.

—— Sugar Baby

After a sugar relationship ends I wouldn’t mind staying friends after. I would want to have a sugar daddy that I could be open with and be good friends with as well so it would be awkward or anything if the relationship would end for any reason. But if the other person wants to cut all ties then I guess I would understand. I wouldn’t mind but a close friendship is preferred.

—— Sugar Baby

I would say it would depend on the person. I think the aim is always to make a connection and if it’s strong enough, I would say remaining friends wouldn’t be an issue. At the same time, if the connection wasn’t that strong it wouldn’t be practical to hold a friendship. As well as if the sugar daddy/sugar baby feels as though the friendship would be strained, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with saying goodbyes.

—— Sugar Baby

To be honest, I don’t know I have tried it in the past with regular boyfriends and today I can’t say I’m friends with very many of them, but truly under the right circumstances, i could decide if that were to happen to still be friends. A person doesn’t really know what the heart wants until it happens and right now I’m open to things and sure if I like him things don’t work and we are great friends then yes we still could be friends.

—— Sugar Baby

I think I would because you’ve developed a kind of relationship that you both can understand each other on a different level. And knowing me, I would never want to lose that friendship or bond with anyone no matter the “relation” ship we had going on previously. But I can also see where there might feel awkwardness when you first see each other after the way things were.

—— Sugar Baby

I probably wouldn’t keep the relationship going after the sugar ends just cause I began the relationship that way. That’s what I’m here for nothing more nothing less. Unless I am able to connect with that other person on a different level then why not. But over all I wouldn’t. It’s like staying with an Ex. Things will never be the same after all that.

—— Sugar Baby

I would say it would depend on the person. I think the aim is always to make a connection and if it’s strong enough, I would say remaining friends wouldn’t be an issue unless the connection was no longer there. I don’t think there’s anything saying goodbye to a non promised relationship. Good luck to sugar daddy and sugar baby with living life!!!

—— Sugar Baby

Always. I an friends with ex’a just because it did not work out does not mean you can’t be a mature adult and be friends. We only live once. I cant imagine not being friends with an ex SD that is not the kind of person I am. The only way that would happen is it you did something terrible. If you aren’t a bad person then we should be fine. That is just me.

—— Sugar Baby

Yes I would love to keep a friendship with my sugar daddy once the relationship ends, because you have already built that bond with them and you have gotten to know them pretty well so I couldn’t just let them go outta my life. But I would also know my boundaries once it does end. I love keeping ppl in my life that are meant to be there an I feel like when your in a relationship with someone an things don’t work out then maybe we we’re just meant to be friends.I feel it depends on the type of guy he is. I believe you can’t be friends with every guy you meet. So if I feel the the Daddy is worth being friends then yes. I want to have a clear and clean understanding with him. I want him to be able to call or text me for anything if the sugar relationship came to end. I feel like you should befriend before you even become his.

—— Sugar Baby

I want to have a clear and clean understanding with him. I want him to be able to call or text me for anything if the sugar relationship came to end. I feel like you should be friend before you even become his sugar baby. But these are just my thoughts

—— Sugar Baby

I think that since the sugar daddy/baby relationship is so intimate, it’s important to at least keep in touch after, if not remain friends. It’s a very relaxing, casual relationship to remain platonic and it’s very stress relieving. Sugaring can take quite a toll on the participants, so it’s nice to have something to humanize your counterpart and keep you safe and secure

—— Sugar Baby

Of course, if we both feel good about the way things ended. My main concern with finding a sugar daddy is that I really want us to be friends before we become intimate and I feel like that might be an issue for most sugar daddy’s and that worries me. I really want to have a successful relationship with a kind loving SD. When or if things change I would love to remain friends with the man who I know I could come to love. Maybe not a marriage type love but as a best friend type love.

—— Sugar Baby

Definitely! Well.. almost definitely. It depends on the person and why we decided to part ways. Having friends and connections are always a great thing to have on the road to success so even if things didn’t work out because of schedule differences, I wouldn’t let that be a reason to completely lose contact with them. I’ve made some great friends with Sugars. Even ones I never had an arrangement with. 🙂

—— Sugar Baby

Yes keeping friends with your sugar daddy is the smartest thing you could do this person came into your life helped you out helped you build yourself with an agreement that you would give him what he needs at the end of the day you left together you’ve made love with each other you’ve built a relationship on a different level so that relationship deserves the respect of a friendship when it is over sometimes you have to walk away when that person was already in a relationship prior to you because you already understood what that meant so out of respect for all that that person’s done for you-you walk away with a smile appreciation and respect and say thank you and keep a friendship

—— Sugar Baby

Yes why can’t you keep your friends I have been married and I’m friends with my ex-husband I mean why not that doesn’t mean anything as long as it is a healthy relationship with your sugar daddy then why wouldn’t you have a friendship afterwards this person can wind up being your best friend that you never thought that you would ever meet in that way but you have to stay open-minded you have to be smart about the choices you make in the things you say keep respect to a level and realize that that person is there to help you and maybe you can do the same somehow and help them so it’s all about a mutual understanding I absolutely agree that yes you should remain friends.

—— Sugar Baby

This is definitely my aim when entering relationships/arrangements as I feel a connection is often made that you don’t always find in more traditional relationships. Arrangements are stress-free, drama free and designed to compliment one another’s lifestyle, so unless you’re deliberately starting drama or not comfortable around each other I don’t see how it can ever end on bad terms!

—— Sugar Baby

I would love to stay friends, friends are a very important part of my life, so I think anyone I let in that gets that close to me I would also see fit as a friend. I have many different friends from all walks of life so I feel that my former sugar daddy would fit right into my life. They must be open to communication of course and they would still have to be respectful.

—— Sugar Baby

It depends, if I had a very close relationship, where my feeling was involved(like very very hard) or a one that didn’t end well, I think I won’t be able to keep a friendship. But if both of us are mature enough and always liked us each other like friends it would be amazing to have someone who really knows you and who you can talk to in case you need it.

—— Sugar Baby

No. After a sugar daddy has exited my life after leaving his money, he is no longer allowed to visit me or try to resume communication ties. Yes, we may have been through some intimate ties but if he decides to cut me off then I will cut him off as well. There is no reason to have friendships after relationships as such. Leave the money and be on your way.

—— Sugar Baby

I want my relationship with my sugar daddy to start off as a friendship so I can always have a good bond with them. I think of having sugar daddies more as an intellectual relationship and someone to spend quality time with. If you’re just using your sugar daddy for money and sex that your thing I guess, but it isn’t mine. There’s more to people than that, and if you can’t or don’t want to stay friends I think it would be a bit shallow, but hey everyone has their reasons.

—— Sugar Baby

Who could ever have too many friends? Of course, I’d be open to staying in touch and being there for one another. As long as the relationship is healthy and we both benefit from the interaction. The only situations that would cause someone to be 86’d from my circle is abusive behavior, red flags, disregard for life, cruel behavior, disrespect, and murder.

—— Sugar Baby

Depending on the person and why it ended I would. If there is no hard feeling I don’t see why you can’t keep being a friend. This is not only about being a sugar baby for me. It is also about making the friend, meeting new people and learn from them since they are more experienced at life than I probably am. It’s all about fun and sharing experiences, stories and more. If I was your sugar baby it’s because I like you as a person first.

—— Sugar Baby

I’d say it would depend on how your relationship ended, why it ended and what type if the person he is. Some people would be more comfortable not being in touch with you. Some are okay. If the person doesn’t mind me being friends after then I’m good. After all, you still build a relationship and cared for each other at one point in your lives. If the person is willing to not look past behind and just genuinely wants to have you as a friend, then why not.

—— Sugar Baby

Of course! If the relationship didn’t end negatively why burn bridges? I guess I feel that way because I’m a very social person and I don’t believe in dropping someone once the relationship is over. I think once you have some space and time apart you can come back together and have a great new friendship with someone you already know and trust really well. What a great foundation for a friendship!

—— Sugar Baby

I would really hope that you can stay friends! I think that in this lifestyle, sugar Daddies and sugar babies share things and experience things with one another on a completely different playing field. Having someone you trust and care for to turn to no matter what would make for an amazing friendship! Hopefully, my current sugar Daddy would be chill enough to recognize that it’s just friends 🙂

—— Sugar Baby

I would keep friends or want to be friends with my quote sugar daddy if we split up, because people sometimes relationships don’t always work out but you may have the best friendship is so it’s always a plus to have a good strong friendship and if it doesn’t work then it doesn’t work but at least you can say you tried to remain friends there’s nothing wrong with giving it a chance.Whitney b Well, it all depends on the two people and how the relationship was. After time, you will begin to care for the other person in just their well being at the least. If that truly happens, then it’s difficult to just not interact with each other once you I suppose “part ways.” In one way or another, they will be there if you need it… as a friend :).

—— Sugar Baby

I would like to maintain a friendship with my daddy should the relationship end. I hope if if were to end it would be on a good note and not badly. I am open and honest and caring. So I would continue to think of him as a part of my life no matter what; unless he did not want to do so. Besides you can never too many good friends. Sharing a bond with someone like that between a daddy and sugar baby should led to a mutual understanding in some manner for the future.

—— Sugar Baby

Sure I think it’s better that people stay friends, u can never have to many friends. I unfortunately have no friends left all of my friends either moved away or stopped talking to me, or they only contact me when they want something from me n I don’t think that’s a true friend. I have a lot of love inside me n it wld b a lot more fun if I had friends to share that love w.

—— Sugar Baby

If we had a loving relationship and cared for each other but realized it was time to move on I would still want them in my life. I enjoy having friends that are different from one another. Each one brings a different conversation and different activities to do. If my SD and I were friends while we were together, in a sense, I don’t see why we couldn’t be afterward.

—— Sugar Baby

I think it depends on both of the people. And also if my sugar daddy is good enough I would love to keep friendship with him as there is nothing wrong being friends. It’s not like we were committed to each other or something. But if my sugar daddy isn’t willing to do so then I will understand it and keep my distance. After all even he has a say in that matter.

—— Sugar Baby

I Would Hope So, it would be hard to have an ongoing relationship in the first place if there wasn’t some sort of degree of friendship in place. I do tend to create lasting bonds with individuals, have a way of making people feel comfortable, and tend to avoid dramatic situations at all costs, so my bet is that when and if things do end, it will probably be on good terms regardless.

—— Sugar Baby

Once I start my sugar daddy relationship I wouldn’t want to end my sugar daddy relationship eventually I think it might lead to something maybe a little bit more profitable as far as love happiness enjoyment and no worries. I think that a friendship is something someone should build at the start of anything because without communication trust and friendship you don’t have anything.

—— Sugar Baby

Of course! Just bec (Sugar Baby), 2017.7ause the relationship has ended doesn’t mean that we couldn’t still be friends! It all depends on how it ended. If he was rude and disrespectful to me then no I wouldn’t. Now if the distance is not a issue or manual understanding then yes of course. I don’t see any reason that just because my ex-daddy and I aren’t ” taking care of each other” anymore doesn’t mean we can be friends 😉

—— Sugar Baby

I would definitely do that as I will always never fail to build this bond between me and my sugar daddy. Fun is fun but as the time passes by, I believe that both parties would be comfortable with each other and separation would be impossible. Being able to built bonds between myself and daddies I’ve met has been fulfilling thus breaking the bond is a no no 😉

—— Sugar Baby

I think it would be hard to cut someone out of your life that knows so much about you and you know about them. There is a mutual understanding there that does not happen even in most friendships. I also think that the emotional support that the relationship provides is also irreplaceable. Overall, I hope that my sugar daddy and I can have a continued friendship.

—— Sugar Baby

I would definitely have a friendship after the sugar relationship ends because you can never have too many friends. You’ve also opened up to each other and know each other very well. I think a good reason to have a friendship when the sugar relationship ends is because then you can always count on that one person if you just need somebody to talk to.

—— Sugar Baby

Yes of course, I’m the type of person that if I make a friend or start a relationship with someone of any type I always make sure we can still be friends. I have a huge heart and just dismissing people out of my life is kinda hard I don’t have hate for me so if the other person would still want to be friends with me then I would most definitely remain friends with them.

—— Sugar Baby

Yes. I’m not here just for the money or gifts. Don’t get me wrong they are nice, but I’m here to match on a deeper leave. I’d love to find someone on here that I can keep touch with for years to come. My life is always leading in new directions and I hope that I can find someone that wants to join along in my trip across the stars and back. Message me.

—— Sugar Baby

Erika b How did we end things? If an amicable separation, then yes. If I am with someone new and they don’t like it. Nope. If you were disrespectful. Nope If there was a boundary that was stepped over. Nope No interest in my betterment. Nope You lied about something important. Nope You were manipulative. Nope Spoke down to me, embarrassed me, abusive. Nope Overall mean to me. Nope.

—— Sugar Baby

I never want to lose a friendship after relationship but it all depends on why the relationship ended and how we feel about each other afterwards cuz if there’s a lot of negativity and a lot of tension between us they’re probably shouldn’t be a friendship we should probably give each other each other space until we’re comfortable with each other again.

—— Sugar Baby

It’s a very difficult question for me.If I feel the most sincere feelings, it will be difficult to continue communication. In addition, such communication can cause feelings of jealousy. But if it’s really a sincere friendship, then why not try it? In any situation it is important to maintain human relations. It is important to always appreciate a person with whom it was good.

—— Sugar Baby

Lol I actually like this question and feel like this can say a lot about a SD or SB. I don’t think you can honestly answer this fully yes or no. If I completely fell for a guy who in turn brakes up with me whether it is good or bad I’d be heart broken and might need time to really recover from that… If we unturn break up mutually and I don’t have a connection with him like that then of course 100% as long as he does.

—— Sugar Baby

Personally for me I would because I’m not here to find somebody just for the money I’m here to find somebody that fits all around who can be my best friend and so just because one of those does it work out doesn’t mean the Friendship doesn’t have to work out unless it is just totally ugly and it’s both parties want nothing to do with each other I have never had that experience though.

It would depend on why the relationship ended and whether I still had feelings for my SD. If I did, I think it would be painful to stay in touch because inevitably you’d be seeing pictures of his new life & adventures & girl. If it ended amicably, I’d be more open to maintaining a friendship but probably a slightly more distant one. Speaking every couple of days instead of every single day.

—— Sugar Baby

I don’t see why not. I feel the best way to go into anything is with honesty on both ends so that no expectations are more then what you have full knowledge of. Anything past that is all on the individual, so if both parties are straight up, that gives us the decision to move forward or go another way. If both are completely honest out of the gate, then friendship after shouldn’t be a problem.

—— Sugar Baby

I have and would. With in the SD/sb relationship, a bond and a very good relationship is formed and it would be and is excellent to know I made a positive i.pact, which he chooses to hold on to the friendship. Being a SB is more about the interaction, the learning and growing then about the gift and/or financial assistance and pampering. I would hope to hols on to what I would consider a good close new friend. There is always a chance it won’t, it all depends on how or why it ended.

—— Sugar Baby

I would definitely love to have a friendly relationship after the sugar relationship ends. Friendships post sugar arrangement means a good reference from someone you’ve learned to trust. It means having a guy to call if you have a lat and have absolutely no idea on how to change it. It means (Sugar Baby), 2017.73 AM phone calls when you’re bored, and just want to have a chat. I like tj3 friendships I have with former daddies.

—— Sugar Baby

Riri b Yes I would want to keep the friendship because we may need each other at a level no one else would understand me maybe like he did. I would still want to maintain the friendship and support him anyway and anywhere I can. I believe our paths cross for a divine purpose not only of fun things but also for friendship basis. I would want to be a friend to him when he needs a friend to listen to him.

—— Sugar Baby

It’s best to not keep in contact once the sugar baby/sugar daddy relationship ends because once a man is done getting his rocks off and no longer wants to spoil you he’ll move on the very next day lol it’s the sad truth but you’re nothing but a thrill to him so unless he says he wants you in his life forever, be prepared for him to get distant IMO.

—— Sugar Baby

b I definitely think that it depends on the type of sugar daddy that you used to have and it depends on how close and intimate you guys became and how long invitation ship was I think it’s great if you can still be friends with your sugar daddy after the arrangement is over and you’re looking for a new sugar daddy I also think that sometimes no sugar daddies don’t want old sugar daddies ground so it all depends on the situation but I definitely feel that if all parties are comfortable and Eddie’s with it then everyone should go with the flow

—— Sugar Baby

I think it’s better to create a good friendship before you have the intimate relationship…. I rather have a good true friend that will always be by my side then to have someone that’s not really there for you… mentally… emotionally and physically… The key to having a good relationship is having a good friendship without a friendship I don’t think we’ll be friends after trying to date.

—— Sugar Baby

We need to remember that any SD-SB relationship is still a relationship! Hence, if I and my SD have already created a meaningful connection, and if he treated me well along the relationship and was always respectful to me I think it’s completely ok with being friends after the relationship is over. Especially if the end was not turbulent, it’s just natural being friends(maybe not that close) after a relationship is over.

—— Sugar Baby

My ideas are pretty weird. For example, I would love to grab a car and drive to a place where we can lay down and stargazing, just lay and see the stars, the sky, enjoy the moment and spend it with him, maybe having a good talk to about any subject. Or also it could be in my favorite coffee shop, it’s a cozy, little place that I love. The bread and the coffee is one of the best I’ve ever tried and it has one of the best views of the mountains that anyone could ever wish for.
